Welcome to Awaken The Wonder podcast, I am the host Evangelist Caleb Wampler. I have seen hundreds of thousands of people come to the Lord through Salvation in Jesus in countries hostile to the Gospel, have witnessed impossible miracles, and experienced the outpouring of God’s wonder through intimacy with Jesus. This podcast is an outflow of my life and ministry in the nations, and of a passionate pursuit of God in the secret place. Jesus raised the dead, helped blind Bartimaeus, calmed the storm, flipped the tables of the Pharisees, was raised from the dead himself, and watched people put their money in the offering. He watched what they were doing. This may seem strange to note after the long list of incredible things the Bible records about Jesus. Yet Jesus made mention of a widow who gave a few coins…she gave all she had. We never hear what happened to this widow after that, but we do know that God saw her sacrifice! End of story. So often we do things for God to show everyone else how good we are. But when we see this story of the widow who gave all she had, it may seem incomplete because we don’t know the end. However, for God it was enough. As we begin this new year, 2024, I encourage you with one thing. If you focus on giving Him your all, that is enough. Let’s focus on what matters this year. Start today. Give all.
Baby Jesus in a manger…shepherds visited by a host of angels…wise men following a star…a teenager giving birth to the savior of the world.. This is the Christmas story! We celebrated Christmas this week, and what a joy to celebrate and remember our Savior’s incredible birth! As we recount this story, it brings up many questions. What was it like for Mary? How did Joseph handle the pressure from society at the time? Why did the wisemen seek out the baby? Each of these individuals we read about were born for that moment and that time. You were born for such a time as this! God has a plan for your life now!
God is with YOU and He will hold nothing back in His pursuit of us! Think of the many times in your life when you know God pursued you. In today’s episode you will be encouraged as you hear how God stopped a crusade in His pursuit of one person!
God loves you. He is for you. Do not give up. Even if you feel that you are at the end of your rope, be blessed today knowing that God pursues YOU!
