South Asia Crusade: Marching to Freedom | Update #1
Caleb & Harmonee Wampler just arrived back from the largest crusade in the history of Kingdom Encounters International!
Friends, all I can say is wow! The timing of the Lord is so perfect. Within hours of our landing, some of the craziest things started taking place. If we had canceled, postponed, or stopped, the Gospel wouldn’t have reached the hundreds of thousands of people that heard the glorious message of Jesus!
While I don’t have any specific numbers to share yet for attendance or decisions to follow Jesus, there is one thing I can say. The Lord is good and worthy to be praised! An opposition political party decided to arrest their opponent throwing a relatively normal weekend, into a weekend full of protests, riots, and tension. If had waited even a day longer, I’m not sure what the climate would have been as dozens of roads were blocked off.
What I do know, is that hundreds of thousands of people responded to Jesus! Miracles were seen by the thousands including:
Demoniacs by the hundreds were set free.
Multiple paralyzed people began walking.
The blind saw, and the deaf heard.
People of influence and power in the communities gave their lives to Jesus.
Dozens of pastors and politicians called our directors exclaiming that nothing like this has happened here before.
All throughout our time in South Asia, there was a felt presence of God. All who came near the site of the crusade sensed it! Harmonee told me that there were so many people on the outside walking to the crusade for miles that it is probably what it was like for the children of Israel when they followed Moses out of slavery and into freedom! Marching to freedom! I love it! Subscribe to our newsletter for more stories soon.
Financial Update for South Asia Crusade
Financially, we saw a big wave of donations come in, and we want to thank everyone who sowed generously into this crusade, the largest in ministry history! We still have an outstanding debt for the crusade we just had in South Asia! If you’d like to help us meet our goal, please prayerfully sow today so we can set our sights on our final two gospel campaigns of the year in Bangladesh and India.
