"Hell Empty, Heaven Full!" | What Reinhard Bonnke Prayed is Happening in Bangladesh!
“I want one thing: hell empty and Heaven full! ”
Since we have no WiFi this week, I’m writing this from my phone. I was moved tonight. A lot. I looked at a crowd of a few thousand people as the music was playing by our local worship team. I looked at the people and God gave me His heart for them.
Think about it. They’ve never heard the Gospel.
There’s only one Christian family in this entire village.
That means the people that came tonight didn't know how to:
Lift their hands in worship
Clap their hands to the music
Say "amen" or "hallelujah!" at the appropriate moment in a sermon
Sing to the Christian worship songs
Stand when the music begins
In fact, they didn't know that:
God created the Heavens and the Earth | Genesis
Jesus is the Son of God and the Way, the Truth, and the Life | John 14:6
There is only one way to salvation! | John 8:24
In Bangladesh, they have 330 million gods that they believe in!
The radical declaration that Jesus is the only God was breaking news to them. Many welcomed Jesus to be the Lord of their life tonight!
One of the Christians who are a part of the ministry team told me:
"This message was so divine!"
I thought it was an interesting way to explain the Gospel. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is divine and it is simple. Yet it's the most important thing anyone can ever hear. Eternity hangs on it! And whether you believe it or not, we are all going to be responsible for what we do with the Word when the end of our life comes.
After 7 and a half years of ministering to more than 2 million people in big crowds and small crowds, the power of the Gospel continues to astound me. It changes individuals every single day, every single night, every single time. It's relevant, it works, it empowers, it saves, it delivers, and it sets the captives free. It is the most important thing.
