Sowing The Seeds Of Breakthrough
What areas of life are you lacking breakthrough in? Are you praying for a financial miracle, or a healing? I’m not sure what you are contending for, maybe there are dreams and desires in your heart that have not yet come to pass. Throughout the timeline of one’s life, there are always areas that we are standing in the gap for. It could be a prophetic word about your destiny or to see a lost family member come to know Jesus. For many people, it’s probably multiple different things.
I think in moments in life we can see ourselves praying and believing for any one of these and probably numerous other things. What I’ve found throughout scripture, is that what you are believing to reap, is what you must first sow. In Genesis 26:12-23 it says, “Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord blessed him. The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy.”
Isaac first had to step out in faith and plant the crops in the fields before he would see the harvest. How can there be a harvest if there isn’t first a seed planted in the ground? When the word of the Lord comes to you and He tells you to do something you don’t always see how it will end up. I feel strongly from the Lord in this season that He is saying to go out and plant and sow into the fields of harvest you want to reap from.
We are coming into the end-time, billion-soul harvest, and there must be a church that is ready to sow in abundance to see the whole earth filled with the glory of God. Isaac planted crops in the land and in the same year reaped a hundredfold return, because the Lord blessed him. If you want God to bless the work of your hands, then sow into what He has put before you.
What is going on at your church right now? Are they raising money to help refugees in Ukraine? Is your church raising money for a new building or to help the children’s ministry? I don’t know what fields are put before you right now, but I believe that as you faithfully sow your tithe and offering in abundance that you will see a harvest.
Maybe you’re reading this, and you have been standing for a long time to see a healing in your body come to pass. Let me ask you, how many people are you praying for everyday? Are you praying for healing for your neighbor, or the person you see in the grocery store? Start sowing seeds of healing to those around you and watch what God does in your life. The same can be said for your family member. Maybe you have a prodigal son or daughter, and you are praying God sends someone to them to share the gospel. Are you doing this in your daily life for the other prodigal children out there?
This truly is much easier than we sometimes realize. When you give, it is given unto you. The Bible says it is your Father’s great pleasure to give you the Kingdom. Sow into those fields of destiny today and I am praying you reap a hundredfold return in Jesus’ name.
