ASIA FIELD UPDATE: A First For Me (Night 1)

We’ve just concluded the first night of the Gospel campaign here in South Asia. It was an amazing night full of the Spirit of God lighting up the darkness and bringing people into His glorious light!

After more than 45 hours of travel and 4 separate flights spanning 3 calendar days, we arrived deep into the bush of South Asia. The people here are curious as they’ve never heard a Gospel message before.

In this culture, more than 330 million documented gods are worshiped, and so the idea of “adding Jesus as another one” is something we are very aware of. John 14:6 says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no one can come to the Father except through me.” This is the message we preach. JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY. It was amazing to see this revelation piercing the hearts of the people as they repented and called on Jesus as Lord and Savior.

God moved in a MIGHTY way performing many miracles and healing His people.

  • A man who couldn’t walk, after being paralyzed in his left leg, began to walk.

  • A man had breathing problems and joint pain and was healed on the spot of both needs.

  • Another older man had back pain for years, but Jesus touched him during the prayer time and he began to walk.

As the Gospel goes out across the 55 villages, and in the main crusade site, please keep us in prayer. The enemy has plans for this region, but so does Jesus! We have every intention to PUSH back against the enemies plans and to establish God’s work here.

As one final note, we were excited to GIVE Bibles to the people, and for the very first time provide an additional discipleship resource to them. My book Hunger was given to every new convert as well. The people were very excited for these resources in an area where they do not have access to Christian literature. At a personal level, it brought me to tears knowing that the revelations God gave me for this book, are now going into the hands of 30,000 former Hindu and Muslim people. Hallelujah!

We press forward tomorrow morning at the Pastors Conference before continuing the crusade services in the evening.
