Encountering God

I greet you here from Brazil in the latest of our international devotional series.

Oftentimes we don’t realize the effect we can have on others. When we encounter the Lord, our

life becomes an encounter for someone else. It is important that our encounters are not just a

visitation but a habitation and that our lives become an encounter for others. Stephen became

To encounter the Lord, sometimes we think we have to go everywhere searching far and wide.

It is way more simple than that. We just have to realize that the God of the universe wants to

dwell in us. God’s power lives within us.

Saul’s life became an encounter because He first witnessed one. God lives in you! He is not

distant but near. You are a light wherever you go! You have the ability to take God’s power with

you everywhere in any situation. It is time to become the encounter through Jesus!
