Sowing Seeds
When you sense a darkness clouding around you in an area of your life then sow seed into that area. The best way to overcome it is to sow seed into it and take back the ground.
Seeds grow and bring life and vegetation into an area that has lost life.
If you’re discouraged, sow seeds of encouragement into others.
If you’re fearful, sow seeds of love.
If you’re hopeless, sow seeds of hope into someone.
If you’re cowering in unbelief, then sow faith into someone’s situation.
If your vision isn’t clear, then sow seeds into God’s promise of that same vision or into the vision of another.
If you’re lacking a plentiful harvest, then sow into the harvest of someone’s plentiful fields.
If you’re needing someone to pray for you, sow seeds of prayer into others.
This isn’t complicated, but will change everything about your life. Sow generously and abundantly and you will reap in the same way. Sow sparingly and you will reap sparingly.
If you don’t sow, you won’t eat the fruit, and your lack of sowing is also a fruit.
We may not know the day of our mountains or valleys, sufferings or victories, crisis or promotions. But we will always be prepared for any season if we continue to generously sow seed.
