Jesus Commissions Me!

Evangelist Caleb Wampler was attending a church service when the power of God came over him.  He was trying to respond to the altar call, but never made it before the Lord took him on an encounter.  He went into a vision.

 As he was enveloped by a bright light, he began to see a silhouette approaching him.  As Evangelist Wampler was lying face up on the ground, the man bent down and kissed him on the forehead.  At that moment, Evangelist Wampler’s eyes were opened and he realized it was Jesus!

As Jesus took him into the encounter, he began to lift him off the ground and commission him to the nations, in healing ministry, in the prophetic, and in so many other things!

Evangelist Wampler was in this encounter for about an hour!  On three separate occasions during this encounter, Mrs. Wampler tried to get him to “wake up.”  Finally, on the third try, he was “pulled back into his body.”  As he felt himself go back into his body, Evangelist Wampler yelled, “Jesus, don’t go!”  

The realization that he was no longer with Jesus in that vision put everything in perspective.  Jesus IS all that matters!

“When the moment of encounter comes upon you, when the moment of visitation comes on you, it’s up to you whether it becomes a habitation, or just stays a visitation!”
